Yoga Nidra, translating as "yogic sleep", is an ancient technique that takes you on a guided meditative journey where you can enter a deeper state of conscious relaxation between wakefulness and asleep.
Yoga is the union of self with reality, to find out who we are, what is truth, understanding "Who am I?".
Nidra brings one to a state where the senses, ego, intellect, mind, and subconscious relax. When all of these are resting, the self becomes a clear observer, self-realizing. When this happens, brain activity reduces, and the body goes in a healing state.
The systematic practice of Yoga Nidra shifts awareness from our external world to our inner world, and leads us into a state of harmonious, restful being. From here, we can heal, restore, and awaken to our true, blissful, and eternal ‘Self.’
